Portrait of Adele painted in wax
This is a video of portrait of English singer Adele being done by RED (Hong Yi) a Malaysian artist-architect who “likes to paint but not with a paintbrush.” In this case she is using candle wax; it’s also worth checking out her coffee art.
She explains: “My portrait of Adele, inspired by ‘Set Fire to the Rain, done with fire and thousands of candles. To me, Adele was probably singing about the pains of a lost relationship. Rain can be a metaphor for her tears she cried, and she is setting fire to it to burn and destroy her pain. I’ve used blue candles to represent tears, and by setting fire to them, they melt and flow into each other, forming a portrait of Adele.”
This is from a four-part project involving the four basic elements: fire, water, wind and earth.

I really adore Adele. mike peralta just posted a cover of one of her songs too.
