Our unlucky September/October issue is published
What’s luck got to do with the September/October issue of Applied Arts Magazine? Lots, actually. It’s the theme for the issue handled by the guest art direction/design team at MacLaren McCann Toronto. Or perhaps we should say the lack of luck. Since the number 13 plays a big part in the agency’s history, its creative department believes that luck doesn’t play a part in producig great work. The role of luck is explored throughout the editorial section and cover designed by MacLaren, including the special pages of content the agency produced itself for the occasion.
Certainly it appears that an abundance of talent, rather than simple good fortune, lies behind the achievements of the winners of our Advertising and Interactive Awards, whose work is displayed in 140 glorious pages. Judged by a panel of respected industry professionals, the Advertising and Interactive Awards have attracted some of the top talents in North America and abroad, and the issue will be a valuable reference for years to come. Also go to our online Awards Archive to see all winners.
Single copies of the issue are available for purchase. Please contact Anna Brown at assistant@appliedartsmag.com for more details.
