Sylvain Dumais gets smashed
This still life series is from Montreal photographer, animator and director Sylvain Dumais. Smashed is his latest personal project: “an experiment in shape, weight and size . . . challenging laws of physics with a moody and quirky finale.”
On his site, Dumais explains that ”he aims to keep his commercial work as fresh and playful as possible. . . . While shooting stills, [he] discovered a passion for set building, tactile installation and mixed media, which is reflected in his motion work. He’s always excited by projects involving design and visual trickery.”
