Stylish Kmart Halloween commercial breaks Guinness record
Here is a great commercial for Kmart, created by draftfcb Chicago, touting the retailer’s more than 3,000 Halloween costumes. The spot features America’s Got Talent contestant Monternez “Monty” Rezell of Stick and Move dance crew as he danced, posed and dressed his way into the record book. Cameras captured his every step as he succeeded in breaking the Guinness World Record for most costume changes in an eight- hour period (more than 150, apparently). The commercial features stylized 360-degree footage of Rezell frozen in motion in various costume poses, set to the “Like Wolves” track by David Condos.
Doesn’t seem to be very well directed and as a result is very choppy with no climax or any meaningful purpose besides just beating the record.
