Dogbook

Father-and-son team Geoffrey and Alexander Roche released their iPhone app Dogbook today, corresponding with the popular Facebook app of the same name, along with a variety of other pet “book” apps on Facebook

The iPhone app’s features include photo uploads, a list of nearby Dogbook users as well as a nearby dog park locater. If you lost your dog, there’s also “Arf Alerts” which send a message to all Dogbook users within a 15-kilometre radius with a photo and your contact information.

“The Dogbook iPhone app is an evolution of the Facebook application,” says Alexandre Roche. “Having Dogbook on your iPhone allows you to always have your dog with you, connect with other dog owners and gives you constant access to a number of resources like finding a dog park nearest to you.”
