Kitestring’s Lemonade

Kitestring Creative Marketing + Design is a, well, creative marketing and design studio based in Hamilton, ON. Part of a growing creative scene emerging from the suburbs and other areas directly west of Toronto, the three-year-old studio (as of today, funnily enough) provide branding, graphic and web design and other creative work for their clients.
They recently finished work on a self-promotional booklet that focuses on how small business can use social media to make a difference in creating a positive brand impression.
Whimsically illustrated and playfully written, it’s an endearing, simplified outline of the little things that business small and large can implement, largely already learned by all of us through kindergarten
As kitestring explains, “The book aims to answer that question [of using social media] through simple metaphors. One successful character in the book leaves positive brand impressions in the form of yellow balloons that spread amongst the kids of Social Mediaville. This positive brand impression can snow ball once it reaches a point, spreading and touching new audience members, helping the brand’s influence grow.”
The book is available for purchase on their site. More images after the jump.

Happy Birthday to kitestring indeed!
Very creative. Looks like an innovative, attention-grabbing, practical marketing piece.

This book is such a good introduction to social media for those who are a little unsure. This book answers how and why implementing social media in your business is one of the best investments you can make.
Thanks Jon! This was a really fun project to work on. Social Media marketing isn’t as difficult as most people think it is, and we wanted to put a piece out into the market that embodied this child-like approach to using twitter, facebook etc. We have had amazing response to the book. : D

Great piece! But I’d hardly lump Hamilton in as a suburb of Toronto. It’s the 8th largest city in Canada, and the old city especially does not have a suburban character to it! I mean, even just look at the skyline! http://dl.dropbox.com/u/23488/Screenshots/c.png
