Monnet Design’s Charity Holiday Cards

We recently received word from Stéphane Monnet of Monnet Design about their 2009 holiday card mailer + website they sent to clients. I’ll let Stéphane describe the motive and process behind their unique holiday wish card.

“This year instead of sending expensive gift baskets and wine to our clients, we decided to put the considerable amount of money those gifts would cost to better use. We created two versions of our holiday card with simple, iconic designs (Peace on earth & Joy to the world). The cards unfolded to reveal a list of Canadian, American (for our clients in Connecticut and California) and international charities. Each client was asked to decide which charity they wanted us to donate to in their name and were directed to a specially-created holiday microsite to make their selections. Over $500 was donated to several charities.”

“Each card also fully unfolded into a holiday poster. The left-over, unfolded posters (close to 600 of them) were then postered around Toronto to spread a little holiday cheer.”

Photos after the jump.
