Announcing the 2011 Applied Arts Student Awards!

Student Awards blog

Open to all students in creative advertising, graphic design, interactive media, photography and illustration, the Applied Arts Student Awards is the largest and most respected show of its kind in North America. Winning an Applied Arts Student Award is a great way to launch your career! Your submissions will be judged by respected senior communications professionals, so you’ll know how your work stands up according to the highest standards in the industry.

More potential employers will see your work than in any other type of awards or promotional exposure. Winners will receive maximum exposure in these high-profile media platforms:

• Showcased in the special Student Awards section, published in the November/December 2011 issue of Applied Arts, with a readership of more than 46,000, including many potential employers.
• Featured in the Student Awards Winners online gallery on appliedartsmag.com which attracts more than 300,000 visitors annually.
• Displayed at the annual Awards Winners’ Exhibit, held in Toronto, in October 2011. Winners will be invited to an exclusive event attended by senior design and advertising creatives, as well as by fellow winners.

All entrants receive a copy of the Student Awards issue. Winners receive two. Winners also receive digital tear sheets and a certificate for each winning piece, which is a great addition to any portfolio.

And if that weren’t enough, there’s always the chance that your image will be chosen for the cover of the 2011 Student Awards!
