Announcing our new online, searchable Applied Arts Awards Archive!

archive launch blog

Applied Arts is thrilled to announce a new online, searchable archive of the winning work from its prestigious awards programs. The archive features a decade’s worth of the magazine’s stunning, award-winning work, and for a limited time, access to all of these inspiring pieces is completely free.

The winning entries are easily searchable by year, discipline, category and keyword(s), so users can find out who won what in a specific year, or what awards a specific company or client has scored. Also, the winning entries are fully browsable by year within each of the magazine’s eight award disciplines: Design, Advertising, Broadcast, Photography, Illustration, Student, Printing and Interactive.

“The concept of the awards archive grew from discussions with our readers,” explains publisher Rosetta Heckhausen. “We asked a select group what they would like to see added to our website to make it more helpful to them. Accessing past award-winning work online was a popular suggestion, as our awards are used by creative professionals to research clients’ past work, find key suppliers and, generally, to be inspired. We embraced the idea, and six months later, we have an easily searchable archive of awards.”

The news of Applied Arts’ online awards archive comes hot on the heels of the magazine’s new Group Benefits Plan, announced earlier this month. Effective as of May 1, all new and existing Canadian subscribers will now qualify for the Applied Arts Benefits program, which includes dental, medical, life, disability and critical illness insurance.
