RGD 2011 Student Winners

Zync Award for Typography: Farah Tamachi, York/Sheridan, Toronto

The Association of Registered Graphic Designers of Ontario(RGD) has announced the recipients of its 2011 Student Awards. Selected by a jury of 35 award-winning creative professionals from across Ontario, 16 $1,000 Awards, sponsored by industry leaders, were distributed in recognition of the recipients’ outstanding achievements in all areas of graphic design.

Award recipients will also have their work profiled in Applied Arts Magazine, as well as on a new RGD website, being created to highlight all past work, set to launch at DesignThinkers 2011.

Shikatani Lacroix Award for Packaging: Christina Lo, York/Sheridan,Toronto

Akran Marketing Award for Book Design: Bailey Fort, George Brown College, Toronto

50 Carleton Award for Northern Ontario: Kassandre Jolin, Cambrian College, Sudbury

McMillan Award for Eastern Ontario: Beth Chapleau, Durham College, Oshawa
