Applied Arts Portfolios: Mike Grandmaison

Applied Arts Portfolios is the newest of the Applied Arts offerings. Available exclusively to photographers and illustrators to promote their talents to potential clients, it is the latest addition to our popular promotional programs. Every week, we’ll be picking one photographer or illustrator from the site to promote on the Wire. This week, we’re featuring Winnipeg photographer Mike Grandmaison. From his portfolio: “Mike Grandmaison is passionate about creating images. Whether it’s a landscape, an agricultural scene, an architectural detail or simply an intimate view of the natural world, MIke is sought after for his ability to capture the essentials of a particular scene.
He manages a full service stock photo agency of one of the finest individual collections of premium photographs from Canada. His award winning photographs have been published by some of the world’s finest corporations including National Geographic, Canadian Geographic, Canada Post, Audubon, BrownTrout, Wyman, Loblaws, Canadian Wheat Board, PCL, Geo and the Government of Canada to name a few His images have appeared on 5 postage stamps and his fine art prints have adorned the boardrooms and living rooms of corporate and private collectors alike.
Mike has illustrated 8 coffee table books, conducts nature focussed workshops and writes a regular feature in “Outdoor Photography Canada” magazine called Discovering Canada. He lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba and travels extensively in Canada on assignment or for stock.”
