Showcase of Beautiful Fashion Illustrations: Hongkiat, which provides online tips for bloggers and designers, offers this selection of gorgeous fashion illustrations. As Carine Ma says: “Most of us know fashion illustrations for their distinctive association with style and beauty. . . . However there is so much more to fashion illustrations that can inspire every designer, no matter what field you are in. This is a compilation of the best fashion artworks I’ve found over the years. Pay close attention to the designers’ expert use of colours, textures, movement and flow, sketching and  line-drawing techniques, collage and mix media techniques. Most importantly, study how fashion illustrators express themselves through their artwork.”

The 60 Coolest TV Show Title Sequences of All Time: In gathering this collection, Dusty Rowles explains, “The best title sequences not only express the concept of a show, feature the typographic logo, and present the key production and cast members, but they capture our attention and draw us in to the show’s mood.”  He also points out that early title sequences were very utilitarian, since networks didn’t want to cut into commercial time. In the 1980s, theme music became important. Then in the ’90s, title sequences became predominant, setting the mood and sometimes providing backstory. Below are some samples of top title sequences.
