THE 2008 PHOTO | ILLUSTRATION CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED

All 2008 winners were notified via e-mail by the end of February.

All winning entrants will be featured in the glossy, 200-plus page Photography & Illustration Annual, published in May. This much-anticipated annual is read by more than 60,000 of your clients, colleagues and competitors. They will also be featured on-line in our Award Winners Gallery, which attracts more than 200,000 unique visitors annually, and will be displayed at the Awards Winners’ Exhibit in Toronto (date and location TBA)

All entrants receive a complimentary copy of the Annual ($30 value). For winners, an additional complimentary copy will be issued. Winners also receive approximately 50 tear sheets of the page on which their work appears, and Awards Certificates for each winning piece.

Applied Arts contests are judged by panels of highly regarded industry professionals and experts, in a rigorous process developed over our more than 16 years of Awards experience. Every entry is scored independently by each judge based on creative merit, technical excellence and suitability for end use. Discussion is not permitted and judges can’t vote for their own entries. So you can rest assured that the winning work has been fairly chosen and will receive the treatment it deserves—reproduction in the country’s most glorious showcase of creative work, kept as a valuable reference by the Applied Arts readership of 65,000.
