The illustrations were done for a book of 19 short stories entitled "God Loves Hair" by Vivek Shraya. The stories are about Shraya's experience as a child navigating the complex realms of sexuality, racial politics, religion, and belonging. Powerful, enlightening and often quite funny, These stories were an honor to illustrate.
