Title: Silverdome
The Silverdome was the home of home the the Detroit Lions until 2001. At the time of construction in 1975 it was the most expensive NFL stadium ever built. In 2009 it was sold to Toronto-based Triple Properties Inc. for $583,000. The sale was viewed by many as a symbol of the collapse of real estate prices in the Detroit metropolitan area.
