Title: the Sustainable Food Guide
The Sustainable Food Guide ranks products as red (avoid), yellow (some concerns) or green (best choice). Users can scan QR codes on specific food labels with a smartphone to direct them to a mobile site created for the system. There they will get a sustainability ranking for that food and an explanation of the factors contributing to the ranking. There’s also a regular site accessible at www.foodsite.ca, with even more information.
