Title: My Hero Mail: Shaping Heroes of Today

As our society weakens the term 'heroism' and celebrities become pseudo-heroes in the lives of media consumers, it fails to foster heroic imagination in children. My Hero Mail is a toolkit designed for an after-school program for children aged seven to ten to explore their heroes and examine their traits. Interactive activities that employ visual and written narratives aim to reconnect their heroes with traditional ideals of heroism in place of celebrity worship.
