We encouraged fans to write 140 character scripts about McDonald’s food for the chance to have them produced into short animated movies. Every two days during the campaign, McDonald’s reviewed scripts, evaluating them for food, story and situational creativity. We then produced the best scripts, and shared them with the “writers” by posting them on the McDonald’s Canada Facebook, Twitter and YouTube channels.
