Raising the Roof, an organization that seeks to find sustainable, long-term solutions for the homeless in Canada, wanted to stop people in their tracks and get them to consider the plight of the homeless. Human size donation boxes that featured real homeless people were created and placed in locations people often come across the homeless. Now people could engage in the cause and link their donation to a positive, longer-term solution.
