30% of young girls look to celebrities as their most influential role models. Making Facebook and Twitter the most important battlegrounds for young girls’ self esteem. Dove wanted to redefine the female role model. So we recruited Mandy Moore, using her profile to shift the spotlight from celebrities to women who should be famous for their amazing accomplishments.
