IKEA opened a store in Winnipeg, a market where only 17% of people knew what IKEA was all about. All Winnipeggers were given Allen Keys and told to look out for the roaming IKEA vending machine. One turn of their Allen Key and the machine would dispense something from IKEA, including gift cards so people could furnish their dream home.
