Our task was to celebrate the history of the Vancouver to Richmond Interurban Tram line in an interconnected urban trail system. Large-format reproductions of the 1945 tramway schedule and historic stations were marked with painted typography, indicating ghostly reference to times past. The overall effect is a playful oversized approach and at the same time nostalgic—the work will slowly wear away over time and become in itself a reference to the past.
