Dream Boats, written by Dan Bar-el, takes readers into the dreams of children around the world. A first-person narrative, celebrating imagination, friendship and the limitlessness of dreams, weaves through a series of stories about individual children. There, themes of culture, folklore, and family are explored.To differentiate the narrative forms and support the themes expressed within each, two subtly unique illustration styles were applied.
