Paul Souders has spent parts of the last two summers photographing in northern Hudson Bay, Canada, living alone in a 22 foot C-Dory boat. He has been documenting polar bears out in their element - the offshore environment - in and amongst the sea ice. With extreme patience and perseverance, Paul is able to get up close and personal with these majestic bears.
