Kane Rooney views the world as a precious place. Using unfinished architectural content, the project employs a neutral language to speak about humankind’s thirst for knowledge and drive to modify and shape our environment, and even ourselves. His photographs reflect on Transhumanism, “an international cultural and intellectual movement with an eventual goal of fundamentally transforming the human condition by developing and making widely available technologies to greatly enhance human intellectual, physical, and psychological capacities”.
