I consider flying to be a spiritual experience. It begins as soon as the plane’s wheels disconnect from the charcoal coloured concrete, breaking gravity’s hold on my body. Freed from terrestrial bounds, patterns and invisible geometries are revealed in the world below. Photographed from the passenger window of a Cessna 172, Blueprints celebrates these intricacies and the beauty of the Greater Toronto Area that can only be revealed through the marvel of aviation.
