Lewis Carroll's poem Jabberwocky is full of made-up words. My job was to decide what these words mean. Having recently moved to Savannah, Georgia, the giant old trees and swamps constantly inspired me, so I decided to use this as the setting. I also enjoy how the poem never fully describes the Jabberwocky. To portray his elusive nature, I decided to focus on his reflection in the water.
