This recreation of one of Frida Kahlo's iconic self portraits was one in a series of traditional art pieces that I reinterpreted as photographs. Over these last few years while developing my photography skills, I've grown to love fine art photography. Just as Kahlo painted fantastical scenes of unearthly surrealism, I've tried to capture unique worlds and characters with my photography.
