2025 Applied Arts Advertising Awards Winners Announced
Creative Excellence. Celebrated.
October 2, 2025
The Applied Arts Awards have recognized creative excellence since 1992. This year, we’re proud to unveil the 30 agencies, production houses, and individuals whose work rose to the top in the 2025 Applied Arts Advertising Awards, as selected by our esteemed jury.
These winning campaigns don’t just sell — they resonate. They are fearless in their execution, blending striking visual storytelling with cutting-edge technology, motion, immersive experiences, and razor-sharp craft. Each piece pushes the boundaries of what advertising can be.
Our biggest challenge today is that deadlines are getting shorter, and we’re losing the value of craft. That goes for idea, art and copy.
Anthony Chelvanathan, Global Creative Partner and Chief Creative Officer, Canada at Edelman, Toronto, ON
As judge Anthony Chelvanathan, Global Creative Partner and Chief Creative Officer, Canada at Edelman, observes, the value of craft is often overlooked in today’s fast-paced landscape. Yet these campaigns prove its power. They go beyond marketing products — they communicate identity, cultural relevance, and values in unforgettable ways.
What sets the 2025 winners apart? Courage. A boldness to take creative risks, challenge expectations, and create lasting meaning — to build emotional resonance, not just visual noise.
The 183 winning entries were selected by the 20 jurors, who were divided into groups and each viewed a different and random group of entries. Each judge reviewed and scored the entries separately, giving an entry one single score based on three criteria only: creative merit, technical excellence, and suitability for end use in the category it was submitted to.
We will showcase the winning work in the Winners Gallery and the 2025 Advertising and Student Awards Annual. The Applied Arts Winter issue is sure to be a keepsake edition as it celebrates the 2025 Student Awards winners. Subscribers and winners can expect to receive their issue by mid-December. Not a subscriber? Subscribe for as little as $4 CAD per month, on or before October 31, to have the issue delivered to your mailbox.
Thanks to our award sponsors, VISTEK; our association partners CAPIC, Design Professionals of Canada (DesCan) and RGD; and our print and paper partner Mi5 Print & Digital Communications, for their continued support.
