Announcing the 2025 Design Awards Winners

The results are in! Each year, the Applied Arts Design Awards shine a spotlight on the incredible talent driving the creative industry forward—and 2025 is no exception. The Applied Arts Design Awards celebrate the year’s most compelling, forward-thinking design work. With entries from across the globe and fierce competition in every category, this year’s winners have truly raised the bar. Get ready to be inspired.

Handpicked by the 2025 Design Awards jury—a panel of industry leaders, the winning work will be featured in our upcoming Summer Annual and online in the Winners Gallery, where their influence will continue to resonate. We are so excited to share the winning work in the Summer 2025 Awards Annual alongside the Photography & Illustration Awards winners—but for now, we are unveiling the 133 winning entries.

"An entry that stops you in your tracks and gets you to feel something, an emotion or a visceral reaction. There were a few entries where I also just had that ‘I really wish I’d thought of that’ moment!"

Bryony Meyrick, CD, C0-Founder, Together Design, London, UK., 2024, an Applied Arts Design Awards judge said of what made a winning entry.

How are entries selected? The judges were divided into groups, each judging a different and random group of entries separately and without discussion. Each entry is given one total score based on creative merit, technical excellence and suitability for end use in the category it was submitted to. Entries that exceeded the pre-determined cut-off score were selected for inclusion in the Photography, Illustration and Design Award Annual. Subscribers and winners can expect to receive their issue in early July. Not a subscriber? Subscribe for as little as $4 per month* on or before May 31 to have the issue delivered to your post box.

Thank you to everyone who entered this year's competition, and congratulations to all who had their work selected for inclusion in the Summer issue alongside the 2025 Photography & Illustration. Again, a HUGE thank you to all our jurors; we are grateful to you for lending your expert eye to this year's competition!
