Part agency. Part influencer
Meet ADBOT
March 3, 2026
What happens when a career agency creative stops waiting for approvals — and starts acting like an influencer?
You get ADBOT.
Founded by internationally awarded executive creative director Raul Garcia, ADBOT is a new kind of content creation studio built for brands that want production without paralysis. It’s part agency. Part influencer. Entirely designed for the speed of now.
Garcia's resume spans over 25 years and multiple markets—Toronto, Vancouver, New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles—with leadership roles at agencies including Courage Inc., Angry Butterfly and Momentum Worldwide. His work has earned international recognition and helped shape modern creative culture.
His latest venture, ADBOT, introduces a new hybrid model — part advertising agency, part influencer network — rethinking how brands approach market research.
So how does ADBOT work in practice? Applied Arts spoke with Raul about the model and the ideas driving this new approach to market research.
There are agencies. And there are influencers. And now there is ADBOT, the content creation studio that takes all the best parts of an advertising agency (category experience, production expertise, top creative talent) and combines it with the best parts of influencers (speed, reach and efficiency).
“AI is changing the game. Now production is faster and cheaper and – in the right hands – limitless. But when you combine AI with the committees, outdated processes, layers of approval, and the redundant staffing of most agencies, the benefits of AI are quickly nullified. We asked ourselves, ‘How can we best leverage AI to deliver to its full potential?’ We found the answer in the influencer model.”
Raul Garcia, ADBOT Founder
Traditional advertising agencies are B2B brands, working behind the scenes to create content on behalf of their clients. Conversely, ADBOT is designed to be a consumer-facing brand that acts like an influencer. Clients approach ADBOT with a set of parameters – such as timing, budget and what they need to work on – and then they sit back and watch as the next ADBOT advertising experiment goes right or wrong.
“Just like an influencer, ADBOT maintains full control to execute in whatever way our team thinks is best,” adds Garcia. “The goal every time is advertising content that pushes the limits, a true recipe for success on social.”
ADBOT helps clients create conversation around their brand by activating the marketing expert in every armchair keyboard warrior. ADBOT develops three buzzworthy campaign ideas, executes promotional content for each campaign in-house with AI, then puts them out into the world and asks people to decide which idea the brand should do for real. ADBOT has named this approach “Advertainment”– entertaining, scroll-stopping work that just happens to be an ad. Then ADBOT outputs a social report and recommends which campaign to actually execute, sort of reinventing research as they go.
At the moment, ADBOT is building its channel by helping small businesses get access to world-class talent that they’d never be able to afford.
