Hopping Crazy for Hired Guns' Latest

November 14, 2014

Pretty...oh, so pretty.

Some delicious typography for you today courtesy of Nanaimo's Hired Guns Creative. The design firm, known for its work with craft beer and spirit brands, has created another eye-catching package for Driftwood Brewery's latest release of its Sartori Harvest IPA.

This is one special brew — the brewmaster of Victoria-based Driftwood travels to Chilliwack, BC every year to obtain fresh hops from Sartori Cedar Ranch, and brews them the next day. The beer sells out in a matter of days.

"Our goal in redesigning the Sartori Harvest label was to bring the packaging up to the level of the actual beer," says the Hired Guns team in a release. "We were able to take advantage of Driftwood's new bottling line, which can handle labels that wrap almost the entire circumference of the bottle and custom die-cut shapes."
