If you’re feeling stuck in a creative rut and need some inspiration, check out portfolio site Format’s new short video series, InFrame.

The mini documentaries, which will be released throughout the summer, chronicle the triumphs and struggles that Format users experience both inside and outside of their professional careers. Filmmaker Bas Berkhout, a documentarian and founder of online film series Like Knows Like, is working with Format to produce the videos.

“I want every photo I put out there to have the full story in it,” says Jessica Lehrman, a Brooklyn-based documentary photographer and the subject of the first short. She shares how her unconventional upbringing imbued her with a sense of adventure — something that’s been integral to her career shooting everything from urban revolutions to hip-hop concerts. At 26 years old, she’s already shot for major publications including Vanity Fair, VICE, Rolling Stone and The New York Times.

“You can be creative and be successful at the same time — it might not be easy but it’s possible, and, without a doubt, rewarding,” says Lukas Dryja, Format’s CEO and creative director in a release. “With InFrame, we hope to break down the barriers some may still feel around pursuing their passion full-time.”
