Rain43 Debuts New Identity

Rain43, the Toronto-based creative agency founded by John Yorke and John Farquhar in 2010, recently debuted a new brand identity that marks a new era of business and hires. 

 

After Farquhar retired at the end of last year, Yorke, managing partner Kevin Pfuhl, and VP ECDs Jane Murray, Duncan Porter and Dave Stubbs landed new accounts with Freedom Mobile and Carlson Wagonlit Travel, and rebuilt the leadership structure, adding Publicis Groupe's Christine McNab as general manager and Edelman's Camielle Clark as VP integrated production and resourcing. They also implemented unlimited vacation time and an ongoing staff coaching program that cut out the need for performance reviews.

 

Along with the personnel changes came some external adjustments in the form of the brand identity, which now features a slanted rain–style typeface and drawn elements. The identity extends from collateral to the new office interior, below.
