Sneak Peek of our Winter Issue
December 5, 2018
2018 Ad winner. "Refuel. Restart." lg2.
Our Winter 2018 issue is set to drop next week! This issue features our amazing Advertising Awards winners, not to mention it’s our first issue with editor Will Novosedlik.
The Advertising Awards are our biggest awards section of the year – that’s why we save it for the end! This year our award winners' work has been reproduced and printed across 140+ pages. We are especially excited about our Young Blood categories, which we recently covered. If you missed it, read it now!
To showcase some of our winners, we’ve included some testimonials from our judges below:
2018 Ad winner. "Just Missed Us" Cossette.
“There were lots of great work. It's really cool to see the line between entertainment and advertising blurring more and more. The focus is really on storytelling and I tried to look for campaigns that did that in different and new ways,” - Bianca Guimaraes, VP, creative director, BBDO, New York, NY
“I was so impressed with the calibre of work. More specifically, how many entries used simple yet intelligent ideas to elevate brands,” - Marie-Eve Best, creative director, bleublancrouge, Montreal, QC
We would like to take a moment to thank all of our judges. To show our appreciation, we’ve covered some of their most recent work – take a look.
Work from Juniper Park/TBWA for non-profit organization IFEX, as seen in our main feature
In addition to the awards, you can find:
- A feature exploring the theme of #MeToo and #TimesUp in the world of advertising (this is Will Novosedlik’s first piece as our new editor!)
- Opinion pieces from industry professionals, including a piece on stereotypes in advertising and the power of a woman’s anger.
