This ad campaign addresses a very real problem in NL – too many people die, or develop serious impairments, from stroke, often because symptoms like arm weakness and slurred speech are brushed off as "nothing to worry about". With minimalistic compositions using broad swashes of colour, interesting transitions, and hand-rendered type, the illustration style proved to be a major part of the campaign's success rate, because it was legible, relatable, and different.
