The last work culminated by Federico García Lorca, before his execution, revolves around the cloistered life of a mother (Bernarda Alba), along with her five daughters and her maids, for the prolonged mourning that must be worn at death of the men of the house. Within such confinement, its inhabitants tense a struggle of powers and envy that ends with the worst of outcomes.
