Corona Canada wanted a way to associate itself with the Mexican holiday Day of the Dead. To raise awareness in Canada and to create a link between the brand and the holiday, we designed a series of limited edition Corona available in the month leading up to the holiday. The cans featured sugar skulls, icons prevalent in Mexican street art. The cans became so popular that retailers had a hard time keeping them in stock.
