Rogers brought mobile service to the Highway of Tears, a remote 166-kilometre stretch of northern British Columbia where many Indigenous women have gone missing or been murdered. Working with Indigenous communities, Rogers installed towers that now provide 911 access for everyone, on any network. The initiative prioritized safety, reconciliation, and equity, transforming critical infrastructure into a lifeline for vulnerable communities.
