When professional baseball finally returned, COVID-19 restrictions meant fans were missing out on the best part of the game: the ballpark hot dogs. So, Heinz decided to step in to bring the hot dogs ‘outta the park’. On MLB's opening day, we made authentic ballpark hot dogs available on DoorDash, and delivered them to fans at home. We even enlisted real stadium vendors to walk down suburban streets yelling get your hot dogs, bringing Heinz-covered ballpark hot dogs to fans at home.
