Human activities are causing species to disappear at an alarming rate. But it's easier to turn a blind eye to a problem when it doesn't disrupt your routine. In the Blink of an Eye was a digital-meets-handicraft exhibition where portraits of endangered animals vanished every time a visitor blinked. It symbolized how quickly species will vanish if we don't act.. Using facial recognition, it transformed a passive reflex into a haunting metaphor to show the consequences of inaction.
