Every Thanksgiving the U.S. President 'pardons' a turkey while thousands of Americans sit in prison for non-violent cannabis offenses. We created PeopleNotPoultry.com, a website that shared the story of those wrongfully convicted and allowed people to send the President a letter demanding their pardon with one click. Over 75,000 letters were sent. On December 12, 2024 President Biden pardoned 1,500 nonviolent drug offenders - the largest single day pardon in American history.
