The Internet has a carbon footprint. So to launch Volkswagen's all-electric SUV, we made a website that's as sustainable as their all-new electric vehicle. We replaced every image on VW's site with over 1.5 million ASCII characters, drastically reducing the amount of embedded data. The result? A site that's 99% cleaner than over 2 million sites tested.
