Art Souterrain: Chronométrie
Entire Design Program
Paprika, Montreal, QC
Creative and Art Director: Daniel Robitaille
By a will to capture the notion of time passing by, the banana, as a random unit of measurement, questions our relationship to time and the urge of consuming before expiration date. On a metallic silver background, the poster evokes the instruments of chronometry. Art Souterrain questions a society that imposes ever-faster productivity, devastating ecosystems. By infiltrating gestures as banal as eating a banana, chronometry questions our way of life.
