For their 2024 Annual, Calgary Foundation wanted to celebrate past donors as well as inspire a generation of new ones. Boiled down to its most molecular: if you give something—anything, no matter how small—you are a philanthropist, and many small somethings can build to something amazing. This came to life in a starkly minimal layout, describing philanthropy as a basic binary element, and using that language to construct titles, financial data visualizations. Even a map of Alberta's treaties.
