La Loi du Nombre (LLDN) is a 750-page, short-run illustrated book by Steve Savage, each copy adorned with a different cover. LLDN examines the world through internet search engines, each spread presenting a numbered statement facing an illustration. A contemporary monospaced font evokes the data-driven subject matter. More than 700 pages, statements and illustrations later, a formula surfaces, respecting an opaque internal logic, potentially holding the key to the hidden laws of the universe.
