RIVER is a LED mesh sculpture and a software generated pattern. It listens to the environment to represent it evolving constantly and infinitely. Its form and behaviour are influenced by the date, the time and the day of the week. RIVER also listens to the interior and exterior sounds and visualizes them. A more active environment creates a more active RIVER. This artwork was commissioned by Desjardins to permanently occupy their branch in downtown Montréal.
