Netflix is an extremely popular service with an instantly recognizable brand. The Toronto Public Library is neither. By appropriating Netflix’s branding, the Toronto Public Library can instantly remind guilty, binge-watching millennials that they offer the same vast, low-cost selection as Netflix, but for books.
