I am a photographer and a mother. Throughout one whole year, I was welcomed into the intimacy of 10 families’ homes in order to document their arrival at home, the preparation of meals in the middle of all the laughter and tears, dealing with all of the battles and reconciliations. Without assumption or judgment, I wanted to take an empathetic look at this universal moment. Through my outsider's gaze, I also sought to better understand why this period of the day was so intense in my own home.
