Daily life aboard a Canadian Coast Guard icebreaker can be both challenging and deeply rewarding. The scenery that unfolds before our eyes is often breathtaking. Due to climate change, the fleet can access ever more locations that were once unreachable and merchant ships are ever less reliant on icebreakers to sail their course. This series bears witness to what is now a typical season of navigation, somewhere in the middle of Nunavut.
